Great for the upcoming fall season.
We are nearing the season when everyone wants to eat healthy or go on diets, and we all know that for many diets you can’t have sugar and sometimes they even exclude dairy. Because it is nearing the cold season you get coco cravings and it is hard when you can’t have sugar and dairy. I was off of sugar and dairy for a bit and needed cocoa so I experimented with almond milk but that was just not the best. I also was not supposed to use other milk substitutes. So I thought I would try it with water. Sounds weird right but I figured nothing else tasted good so what did I have to lose? I mixed some cocoa powder and sweetener and added that to it hoping that it would give some taste of real coco. It was not bad. It is not as good as real coco of course but if you need a chocolate drink this will do it.
Ingredients:
10 oz. Water
1 ½ Tbsp. Cocoa powder
3 Tbps. Stevia sweetener
Directions:
Get your water to whatever heat you prefer at least warm enough for the cocoa to dissolve. Add the cocoa and stevia to the water and stir until all of the cocoa is dissolved. Now you have a cup of coco dairy free. It taste nice on a cold day. I hope you try and enjoy.
